Olszewski Issues Statement on Trump 2026 Budget Plan

(Washington, DC) – Maryland Congressman Johnny Olszewski issued the following statement on President Donald Trump’s proposed 2026 budget, which cuts domestic investments by upwards of $163 billion, or 23 percent of current levels.

“Not surprisingly, this budget is ruinous for middle class families and will do absolutely nothing to make good on President Trump’s promise to lower costs for Americans. In fact, it will do the exact opposite. It’s an exclamation mark on his disastrous vision of a federal government by the rich, for the rich.”
