(Washington, DC) – Maryland Congressman Johnny Olszewski today voted in support of a bipartisan $38.6 billion funding bill that includes at least $8.2 million in targeted investments for Maryland’s Second District, supporting local law enforcement, crime prevention, and critical infrastructure improvements. The funding is part of an appropriations package covering the Commerce, Justice, Science; Energy and Water Development; and Interior and Environment bills, which passed the House in a 397–28 vote and now advances to the U.S. Senate for consideration.
