The Federal Inquiry into the Nature and Documentation (FIND) of Housing Loss Act of 2025 will — for the first time — enable decision makers for to track housing loss through a national rate similar to unemployment.
Millions of Americans lose their homes each year to foreclosure, disaster and, most frequently, eviction as rents nationwide fail to keep pace with wages.

(Washington, DC) – Congressman Johnny Olszewski voted this morning against a massive bill backed by President Donald Trump that would fund tax cuts for the wealthy by increasing costs for the middle class, slashing critical healthcare and food assistance programs, and adding more than $3 trillion to the federal debt. The Republican budget reconciliation bill, which totaled 1,116 pages, passed in a 215-214-1 vote and now heads to the U.S.

(Washington, D.C.) – Congressman Johnny Olszewski this morning introduced an amendment to the Republican budget reconciliation bill that would guarantee jobs are available to satisfy proposed work requirements for the Medicaid program. The misguided and unnecessary work requirements are part of Republicans’ plans to cut $300 billion in Medicaid to offset tax credits for the wealthy.
Olszewski offered the amendment during a marathon hearing before the House Rules Committee that began at 1 a.m.
